The Town Hall of Eivissa has opened the call for the provision process of the job of director/a of the Municipal Board of Music. The selection procedure will be through the merit competition system.
The deadline for submitting applications will be 10 working days s from the day after the publication of the call to the Official Bulletin of the Balearic Islands (BOIB), scheduled for Saturday 20 March. The persons concerned must be in possession of the university or equivalent degree on the date of the end of the application deadline, have more than three years of professional exercise in similar jobs and have a credit for the knowledge of the Catalan language of the level C1 and level B1 of the English language.
Culture councillor Pep Tur has pointed out that .the selective process will have two phases, a first that will be the merit contest and a second that will consist of a personal interview. With this call, we are still working to improve the structure of the Board and to comply with the last modification of the Statutes, which was agreed by the various political groups in the last parliamentary term. S. adds, moreover, to the competition already held previously for the conductor of the Symphony Orchestra.

The selected person will have a six-month trial period. The expected duration of the provision of this job as established in the Statutes of the Municipal Board of Music of the City Council of Eivissa is five years, with a two-year extension if the Governing Board of the Board of Trustees considers it appropriate.
