Ibiza will celebrate the Day of the Llibre next Thursday 23 of July

With a fair at Vara’s walk of Rey and discounts of the 10% at all the books.

The walk of Vara del Rey will receive the next day 23 of July the celebration of the Day of the Llibre with 25 stops and discounts of the 10% at all the books, after the State of Alarm because of the COVID-19 impeded the celebration of the Party of Saint Jordi the 23 of April. Low the lemma ‘Books at the street’, bookshops, publishers and numerous entities of the island will sum at this party at Alamera among the 18 h and the 23 h. Besides, during all the evening there will be signature of novelties for part of his authors.

At this occasion, and to eschew agglomeration at the ongoing situation, the City council of Ibiza will not organise complementary activities like the dance farmer, contacontes or concerts, that carry out usually at this celebration.

The alderman of Culture, Pep Tur has excelled the importance of the celebration of this day of the book at ‘an odd year at these times of pandemia that did not permit us that could celebrate the day of Saint Jordi with normality’.
